Dropshipping FAQ: Shoutouts, order tracking & US measurement units
Hi guys! Running a dropshipping business can be quite challenging sometimes. We’re sure you have some questions about store promotion and management, and we’re always ready to answer them and share our experience!
It’s the dropshipping FAQ by Dropship Club, and today you’ll learn how to make shoutouts to promote your store, how to send tracking info automatically to your customers, and why it is necessary to have all sizing data in the US measurement system.
HOW TO MAKE SHOUTOUTS?
First of all, what are shoutouts? Shoutouts are when an influencer mentions you on their own account and tells their fans or followers to check out your store or products.
The steps to make a shoutout are the following:
➤Find a suitable Instagram account of a blogger.
➤Send a message to that blogger asking if they make shoutouts and what are the most active hours at their account and the engagement rate.
➤Decide on a price and date & time of a shoutout.
➤Give the blogger your advertising creatives (pics, a link, and a caption).
➤Pay for this shoutout (we usually pay via PayPal)
and wait for the results!
SMALL TIP: a good account to place your shoutout is one that is somehow related to your store theme with more than 7-10K followers. It should have enough likes on pics and some comments from real people (not bots).
HOW TO SEND TRACKING INFO AUTOMATICALLY?
To get started, go to AliDropship, click Orders and select Tracking tab. Set necessary filters and click All Sync to fetch the latest tracking information for all your orders from AliExpress. If this info is available and the order is shipped, the shipping notification will be sent to your client automatically. And that’s it!
IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE SIZES IN THE US MEASUREMENT SYSTEM?
The answer is simple: absolutely yes! According to our experience, more than 80% of our dropshipping store customers are from the US, and it will be simpler for them to order goods sizes listed in inches.
